Italian Brew Association (‘Italian Brew’) is committed to protecting the privacy of its websites’ visitors, members and partners. This Privacy Notice describes how Italian Brew collect, process, protect and use the personal information. In addition, this notice explains how you can contact Italian Brew with the purpose of obtaining information about your personal data stored with Italian Brew and/or exercise your privacy rights. By continuing accessing the IBA’s websites or using its services, you are accepting all the terms of this Privacy Notice.

VISITOR TO OUR WEBSITES

When someone accesses our websites, third-party services, such as Google Analytics, can be used to collect basic information and behaviour patterns of the websites’ visitors. This information will be used to find out the number of visitors and what are the pages of major interest. We do not make any attempt to obtain the identities of the visitors without explicitly informing the visitors about this intention and we will not allow any third-party services to try to obtain that type of information.
We use cookies to collect non-personal information for statistical purposes or to allow the users to fill and access forms to apply for membership and subscription of services.

MEMBERS OF ITALIAN BREW

The members of the Italian Brew are asked to fill a form providing the following information: full name, contact address, email and phone numbers. Additionally, they are asked to maintain this information updated. This personal information is necessary to evaluate the membership application and to keep our membership registry. It is also used to contact the Italian Brew members informing about future general meeting of the association, special events organised to its members and, if explicitly accepted by the member, offers relating to activities that are part of the association’s objects.

PEOPLE WHO USE ITALIAN BREW SERVICES

Registering may be required to use some of the Italian Brew services. The information required to register will be restricted to the necessary to provide the Italian Brew services.
For instance, in order to publish someone’s professional information in the Italian Brew professional directories, it will be necessary the full name, professional contacts and a summary of the professional expertise or experience. Optionally, a photography can also be uploaded to Italian Brew.
This personal information will be used by Italian Brew to contact the registered person in order to confirm their identity and professional qualification, as well for the payment for the service, if the service is subject to a fee. Also, the personal information will be used to publish the relevant professional data in the directory.

PEOPLE WHO CALL US

When someone call Italian Brew we can register basic information about the person, such as name, telephone number and purpose of the contact, in order to provide a satisfactory service and to help improve its efficiency and effectiveness.

PEOPLE WHO EMAIL US

Any email sent to us, including any attachments, may be monitored and used by us for reasons of security and for monitoring compliance with our policy. Email monitoring or blocking software may also be used.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES.

Apart from personal information that is published in our websites as part of our services, Italian Brew will not share any personal information of individuals with third parties, unless it is explicitly authorised by the individual or if it is required by law.

ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION

If any individual is interested to know about any personal information maintained with Italian Brew, they can request Italian Brew to provide a description of their personal information. After confirming the identity of the requesting individual, Italian Brew will provide to them: a description of the information and an explanation of why Italian Brew is holding this information. Italian Brew will not disclose information that can affect the privacy of other individuals, except if authorised by them.
To make a request to the Italian Brew for any personal information we may hold you need to put the request in writing addressing it to the address provided below. Any mistakes found in the information can be correct by request of the individual. This correction can be made throughout the relevant forms in the websites or requesting in writing to the address provided below.

Our websites are hosted on a variety of third-party platforms. All of them provide data protection via dedicated services to safeguard your personal information. We also adopt organisational measures to provide privacy protection, including the restriction of access to your information only to a restricted number and previously identified members of our team.
